"Life is a dream..." is the title February Mudder of the Month, Mary Bauer, has given her exhibition. She describes it as "a clay narrative about memories, dreams and stuff that is and isn't real." Her work of the past year shows examples of pinch, coil and slab--basic fundamentals of ceramics practice. There are functional pieces, as well as figurative sculptures, and there's a sense of whimsy here. We hope you will visit our front gallery to see her work, as well as our members' gallery, where 37 active members' work is displayed and for sale.

We are still displaying our community chess set--(now moved to the members' gallery), which is being created by many MWCC members as part of Ed Olson's November Monday Members Challenge. Some of the chess pieces are still in process, so we will be adding them as they are completed--which means you should visit our gallery often! It is eclectic and cool and you will not want to miss seeing it, along with Mary's work, so stop by Saturdays 10-4 or by appointment!

November 1 was the Award Reception and Gallery Opening for our Monday Members Challenge "Faces and Masks," exhibition, which received the Mayor's Choice Award 2023. We are thrilled to have them still on display at Grand Forks City Hall.  If you haven't seen them yet, do stop by City Hall and beautiful downtown Grand Forks!

In our  gallery you will  see ceramic pieces, of all shapes, sizes and glaze finishes, and we add new pottery weekly. Artists are always working on new ceramic techniques and producing unique pottery, sculptures and glaze combinations. Our artists each have a unique style--you will see a lot of variety in ceramics arts when you visit our gallery. Have a special someone in your life? We have so many options for gifts or for your own home decor. Vases, bowls, cups, garden decor...we have something for everyone! We are open Saturdays 10 - 4 and by appointment.
